Ash Wednesday is TODAY!
Our family-favorite experiential children’s liturgy is this evening at 5:00p.
The traditional Ash Wed liturgy is at 7:00p, featuring our adult choirs and preaching by Vinita Wright.
This Sunday starts our “Called to Life” Sunday series
SESSION 1: “The Meaning of Vocation” Rachel Watson leads us in pondering these questions: What meanings does “vocation” have and what difference does faith make to who we are, how we live, or what we do? How does a vocation differ from a job or life activity that may be boring, stressful, or without purpose? How is vocation experienced? Rachel will tell the story of her vocation as a call to responsibility and joy, a process of learning to listen to herself and others and finding the Holy Spirit there. Come to the St. Cecilia Room at 10:20a.
Next Women’s Group on “Leaps of Faith,” Feb 25
The next SPR Women’s meeting will be this Saturday, Feb 25, 3:00-5:00p in the Byllesby Room. In acknowledgement of Leap Year, this month’s focus will center on a discussion regarding “leaps of faith.” Please come and share stories or events that have inspired you to take a leap of faith.
