Rev. Peter Lane, Rector
Peter was called to be Rector of St. Paul & the Redeemer in December 2009 after having served as Assistant Rector, then Associate Rector, since July 2007. He began his tenure as Rector in February 2010. Peter came to SPR after finishing a Masters of Sacred Theology at the General Theological Seminary in New York City. Previously, Peter taught U.S. History and coached baseball at Nueva Esperanza High School in North Philadelphia. He has an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary and a B.A. from the University of Chicago. Email Peter.

Rev. Anne Benvenuti, Assistant Priest
Anne is a graduate of the University of San Francisco, where she majored in theology and prepared for ordination in the late 1970s, when it was thought that Catholic women might soon be ordained. She earned a Ph.D. in psychology from UCLA, specializing in mind-body medicine and community mental health. She moved to Chicago in 2008. She continues to teach philosophy and psychology full time online. She is also concurrently a Visiting Scholar at Georgetown Medical School and at the University of Chicago Divinity School, where she is doing interdisciplinary research on neuroscience, religion, and ecology. Dent Davidson, Associate for Music and Liturgy
Under Dent's leadership, SPR is partnering with the Diocese of Chicago to develop a musical/liturgical laboratory and to provide resources to other congregations and to the Diocese. In addition to his work at SPR, Dent is the Musical Chaplain to the Episcopal House of Bishops. In 2008, he led the American Bishops' Choir at the Lambeth Conference in England. He is also the Liturgical Coordinator for the National Episcopal Youth Event and for the Episcopal Student Leadership Team. Email Dent.

Dan Puchalla, Associate for Communications and Administration
Dan Puchalla came to St. Paul & the Redeemer in 2005 when he began his Master of Divinity degree at the University of Chicago. As part of that program, Dan served as a parish intern here at SPR for the 2006-2007 academic year. Dan is the senior staff person charged with running the church office and making sure the parish and the wider community stay well-informed of SPR's programs and events. Dan is a Chicagoland native: he grew up in west-suburban Lombard until he moved with his family to Florida, where he attended high school and college. Email Dan.

Rev. Jack Seymour, Deacon
Jack Seymour joined the community of St. Paul and the Redeemer as a perpetual deacon in 2004. He is the Executive Director of the Cathedral Shelter. Jack was ordained a perpetual deacon in the Diocese of Springfield in 1994, where he served the Cathedral. He was a founder of First Bank of the Americas, SSB, a community development bank serving the Hispanic community on the south west side of Chicago. Jack has two children, Bobby and Kelen. He lives on the near west side of Chicago with his son Bobby. Email Jack.

Irene Claude, St. Nicholas Choir Director
Irene Claude is an early childhood music and movement teacher and is a certified teacher in the the Music Together program. She is also a private flute teacher and performer. Irene has a Master of Music from DePaul University and a B.M.A. from the University of Michigan, and has completed Suzuki pedagogy studies and Orff certification. She is a member of the Chicago Flute Club, the National Flute Association, the Chicago Federation of Musicians, the Suzuki Association of the Americas, and Music Teachers of Hyde Park. Email Irene.

Josefina Scanlon, Bookkeeper
Josefina helps keep SPR's finances and contributions in proper order. She also serves as the bookkeeper at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Evanston. Email Josefina.

Adam Yates, Administrative Assistant
Adam is a Master of Divinity student at the Chicago Theological Seminary in Hyde Park and a postulant for priesthood in the Episcopal Church. Adam has interned at SPR for the past two years and, in addition to his office duties, is very active with the SPR Youth. Email Adam.

Andria Skornik, Youth Assistant
In 2008, Andria moved with her husband Jordan from Portland to attend the University of Chicago, where she is pursuing a Master of Divinity. In addition to heading up the Youth program, Andria is also one of our parish interns. She came to the Episcopal Church as a young adult, and it was at that point that she realized she was in a place where she could pursue her sense of call in a way that was consistent with her identity, beliefs, and values. She has a French Bulldog-Boston Terrier named Hermes. Email Andria.

Brian Blackmore, Sexton
Brian is a master of arts student at the Chicago Theological Seminary. He hails from Gainesville, FL, where he worked in education and theater.
